Dental Implants

Dental Implants are titanium screws which are placed in the jaw bone by a minor surgical procedure. Implants are available in various lengths and diameters to suit the length and width of the bone available for implantation. There are two methods followed – immediate loading and delayed loading. In the former, the dental implant is placed and within three days the crown is placed in the abutment of the implant whereas in the latter, the implant is placed and given three months time to bond (osseo-integrate) to the bone following which the crown is placed. We, at Concern32, use various implant systems namely, Nobel Biocare, Straumann, GEN-XT, Adin and Dentium. In the past 8 years of our dental practice, we have placed nearly 3000 dental implants with no post-operative infection which we are proud of.
